You will use the guide on my “How To Measure” page to do 3 simple measurements of your dog’s chest, length and height. I will use these measurements to custom make your sweater. I will also ask you to tell me the breed of your dog (or if you can email me a picture of your dog as well, that will help tremendously! But a picture is not necessary!) as this will help me to get the best fit as well. I also will need to know if you dog is a male or female so I can be sure to put the Doggie Clip in the right place for the boys! What styles of fleece can I choose from?I have a limited quantity of fleece available at any one time, so it’s really “first come, first serve” on my fleece styles. So, you will really get a “one-of-a-kind” sweater for your pampered pooch! When you are ordering, you will just need to indicate your fleece preference (based on the fleece styles pictured on the Fleece Catalog pages) in the checkout process and I will let you know as soon as I get your order if that style is no longer available. If your choice is not available, you can then choose another pattern or cancel your order. I have plain fleece colors as well if you do not want a sweater with patterns.Are your sweaters warm? YES! My sweaters have 4 layers of fleece and will keep your doggie warm in the coldest of winters! Dobies have very short hair and very little body fat--they do not like nor tolerate the cold very well...but put on one of the sweaters and they are ready to romp in the snow at the dog park for hours! It gets very cold in Wisconsin during the winter and my dobies were happy as a bug in a rug in VERY cold weather (including blizzards). We could hike at the dog park zero degree weather without a problem--because they were snuggly warm under their sweaters! How do I clean the sweater? My sweaters are completely machine washable and will last for years and years--even after repeated washings. You wash them just as you would your fleece pajamas. How long after I order will I get my new Doggie Duds sweater?Every sweater is custom made by me (Laurie) for your special pooch. How do I figure out what size to order for my dog?
